First Website Project.
This week you will start working on your website project. You have choice concerning the type of project you work on. The website must conform to these specifications:
- Design it with the idea in mind that it will be relevant to your life and interests. It's not just an assignment, it's a project that you can use to further some purpose of yours.
- The project must make some connection to at least one other course or academic area. How you make that connection is up to you.
- You must type up a proposal for me to approve before you start. Use this form to send me your proposal.
- The website must contain documentation. View source for this page to see how I document the page as I go.
- You will need to interview someone in the "real world" as a consultant to your website. You will need to obtain feedback from real people outside of class about your website.
- You may work on your own or with a group of up to three people. If you work in a group, prepare to plan evidence as to the contributions of each group member.
- There will be weekly assignments to complement your work on the project. See this grading sheet for how I will break down your grade.
- Final presentation of the site to the class at the end of this marking period.
